Miami among Princeton Review selections for ºÚÁÏÉçÇø 50 Best Value Colleges

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs gather for spring commencement 2024 at Yager Stadium. The university recently was selected as one of the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø 50 Best Value Colleges (Public Schools) by the Princeton Review.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is considered one of the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø 50 Best Value Colleges (Public Schools) by the Princeton Review. 

Coming in at No. 28 overall, Miami is the highest-ranked school from Ohio on the list. selected 209 schools for 2024 based on survey data from more than 650 colleges. ºÚÁÏÉçÇøics ranged from academics to cost, financial aid to graduation rates, and more. 

Other factors included survey data from ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs, as well as alumni surveys from PayScale.com. 

Miami rose six spots from its No. 34 ranking in 2023. 

“We are committed to providing excellent educational opportunities and setting our ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs up for success, both while they are at Miami and beyond,” Miami President Gregory Crawford said. “This further affirms the value of a Miami education and reflects the dedication of our faculty.”

Miami also ranked No. 12 for ºÚÁÏÉçÇø 20 Best Schools for Internships (Public Schools) by the Princeton Review, an improvement over last year’s No. 13 ranking in that category.

More than 40 data points were used by the education services company to calculate the ROI (Return on Investment) ratings of the schools comprising the . 

“The schools we chose as our Best Value Colleges for 2024 are a select group: they comprise only about 8% of the nation’s four-year undergraduate institutions,” Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review, said in a release.

“We commend their administrators, faculties, staff, and alumni for all they are doing to educate their ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs and guide them to success in their careers. These colleges are also exceptional for the generous amount of financial aid they award to ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs with need and/or for their comparatively low cost of attendance.”

Miami featured in Best College in America 2024 list from Money

Miami also recently landed among the list as rated by Money, the online finance magazine. The university earned a rating of 3.5 stars and was the second highest rated public school in Ohio.

The Money list rates 745 colleges based on 25 factors, including financial aid, graduation rates, alumni salaries, cost of attendance, and more. The rating system takes into account the multiple ways a school can provide value to its ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs and evaluates institutions on quality, affordability, and outcomes.
