University named in Best Education Schools, Part-time MBA Program, Speech Language Pathology categories

Miami earns spots on U.S. News and World Report Best Graduate Schools ranking lists

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø was featured in the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings for 2025.

Multiple ºÚÁÏÉçÇø programs were again part of U.S. News & World Report’s rankings for 2025.

Miami earned spots on the Best Education Schools, Best Part-time MBA ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, and Speech Language Pathology categories. The university rose six spots from its 2024 ranking on the Best Education Schools list, ranking No. 73 overall and No. 61 among public schools.

The rankings, released on April 8, are intended to help prospective ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs while exploring education options beyond their undergraduate degree. The Best Graduate Schools rankings include business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing.

“This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and leadership of our faculty, staff, and ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs,” said Amity Noltemeyer, dean of the College of Education, Health, and Science. “We remain committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment that equips our graduates to become innovative leaders who shape the field of education.”

Miami is the No. 2 ranked school in Ohio for Best Education Schools. The university also is ranked No. 93 overall, No. 55 in public schools, and is a top five school in Ohio in the Best Part-time MBA ºÚÁÏÉçÇø category. In Speech Language Pathology, Miami's Speech Pathology and Audiology program is ranked No. 74 overall. That category is one of the additional rankings calculated using only peer assessment scores.

U.S. News & World Report bases its Best Graduate School rankings on expert opinion about program excellence along with statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research, ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs, and post-graduate outcomes.

“The 2025 Best Graduate rankings are more than numbers; they guide ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs to determine pathways that align with their goals,” LaMont Jones, senior editor of Education at U.S. News, said in a news release. “When ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs have substantial data and options, they can make informed decisions to generate transformative life opportunities. U.S. News rankings and data leads ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs to find the perfect program where they can flourish.”

Honors College featured on Town & Country list


Miami’s Honors College was recently included among the by Town & Country magazine (subscription required).

The Honors College launched in 2021 and has quickly developed into one of the best of its kind in the United States. College Transitions named the program as No. 6 of the .

Zeb Baker, who led the transition from the Honors Program to the Honors College at Miami, was named the inaugural dean of the Honors College in February.
Established in 1809, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
