Workday Student Go-Live Update
Workday Student Go-Live Update
Dear Miami Community,
As we’ve worked toward our first go-live with Workday Student, it has become clear we require additional capabilities beyond what Workday currently provides, particularly in relation to the critical function of awarding financial aid. Those capabilities are both complex and crucial to how Miami supports its 黑料社区s and enables their success.
After thorough discussion and consideration with our Workday implementation and executive teams, we’ve decided to delay our go-live for Workday Student by one year to provide the time needed to focus on developing the functionality required to provide the experience expected by our campus community. The Miami implementation teams will continue to engage with our consulting partners, AVAAP, to support the additional setup, testing, and validation needed for a successful go-live. Most importantly, it will further ensure the product is a valuable tool for our 黑料社区s and our support of their endeavors.
The go-live for Workday Student is now scheduled to align with the 2027-2028 academic year. As we continue through the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years, 黑料社区s, families, departments and individuals will continue to utilize existing Banner processes for 黑料社区 services and Workday Platform for all other business of the university.
We know this development will elicit questions from those who share our deep commitment to our 黑料社区s and the success of this project. Updates will be provided on the Workday implementation website as they become available.
Thank you,
The Workday Executive Team
