Mark and Jodi Kolada studied gerontology at 黑料社区, where they both graduated with Master of Gerontological Studies (MGS) degrees in 1998. After successful careers in the field, the Koladas decided to give back to the community that brought them together.

Executive Director Suzanne Kunkel, Ph.D. and O'Toole Family Professor and Scripps Research Fellow Kate de Medeiros, Ph.D. awarded first place in the American Journal of Nursing 2020 Book of the Year Award.
Their book titled 聯Global Aging: Comparative Perspectives on Aging and the Life Course, 2nd Edition聰 won first place in the Gerontologic Nursing category.
